This salon is AMAZING! The stylists were so friendly and fun. I got a partial high light from JiJi and it was stunning, I am obsessed! I will definitely be going back!

Hair Play Salon is a hair salon at the Village in Shirlington that specializes in haircut and styling, conditioning treatments, threading, color services, and other services (e.g., Brazilian treatment, updo, perms, makeup application, and brow tint). After check-in for my hair appointment that I made through the Vagaro app, they offered a beverage (e.g., iced water, hot tea, coffee, or cappuccino). I selected iced water and hot tea. I enjoyed sipping on Stash Lemon Ginger Tea while getting my hairdid. The staff (e.g., front desk staff, hair washer, and hair stylist) was warm and friendly. I liked how they had different hair shampoo and conditioner for different hair types. When Zaynib washed my hair, I liked how she massaged the shampoo and conditioner into my scalp. When Soukayna blowdried my hair, she asked me how I'd like my hair parted, if I liked it or if I wanted anything changed, and if I wanted hair spray. I was happy with the results and definitely will be back!

JiJi did a perfect job with my hair! I hadn’t gotten a haircut in about 5 months so although it was desperately needed, i wanted to keep the length i had. She cleaned it up so nicely and gave my hair some much needed volume by adding a few layers and a subtle face frame. I was nervous about finding a new salon since i recently moved, but I’m happy i found Hair Play and JiJi. The salon is so clean and loved the ease of booking online. Prices were reasonable for this area and you can’t beat the location— plenty of places to eat afterwards! Will absolutely be back!
