The Bloom Salon

I went to Bloom Salon on the recommendation of another person. My appointment was with Anne Landry, one of the salon owners and a Master Stylist. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and after my shampoo, she got started. I've had this cut several times in my other salon out of state with perfect results, so I was hopeful. Anne's technique was far from the master stylists that I've used before: she just kept hacking off chunks until finally, instead of a beautiful layered bob, I ended up with a mix between a Kindergarten boy bowl cut and lawn mower job pixie. I actually had to tell her to stop just to get out of there, otherwise who knows, I may have ended up bald. While they apologized and refunded my payment later, she did keep the gratuity (which I give standard anywhere regardless of service), plus I had to pay for parking as well for this disaster appointment. I have been a client of Anne's for several years and am happier with her work every time I see her. Sometimes I come with a photo to use for inspiration, sometimes not, and she always delivers exactly what I want. The last time I saw her, I brought in a photo of a different style I wanted to try, and she warned me that it was a very high maintenance style. Both of us knowing that I need a low maintenance style to fit my lifestyle, she revised the cut to give me a similar look without all the upkeep. Really happy with how it turned out! Sophia Smith was my hair stylist and not only was she rude but her hands were unwashed and she got grease in my hair before proceeding to cut it completely wrong. I tried to fix it but it was irreparable. Service: Haircut
