My 5 stars is only about the stylists, not colorists. I have been getting my hair cut at this salon for almost 10 years. My current stylist is Alexis Kim and she is wonderful. It really comes down to the details. Most stylists can generally do a good haircut, but Alexis points out where a slight change could make a big difference. She has suggested areas to grow out and areas not to layer towards the front where hair is thinner. And she always listens to my concerns and what I like and don’t like. And she’s just a lovely person in general. I used to do color here, too, but stopped for some of the reasons other reviewers mentioned. The last time I did a color there it was a touch up of the roots that had grown out about 1 inch. Instead of black like the rest of my hair it came out a dark brown, then within a couple weeks faded to like a medium reddish brown. They couldn’t get me in right away for a fix so by the time I got back in, I had mostly black hair, a medium red-brown stripe, the
