Jan is absolutely the best. She colored my hair several times and the color always comes out right. She's great when it comes to styling my hair and has a great flat iron. Her dad also colored my hair once and did a great job. Her sister and mom did really good on other people's hair from what I've seen. You can't go wrong no matter which stylist does your hair. They're always professional which is what I like without but they're real laid back. When you walk into the salon, you feel like you're at the beach. You'll love this place. I'm giving 2 stars because my haircut looks good enough but I did not enjoy the experience. I will say, everyone I spoke to was very nice and they did squeeze me in at the last minute, so I appreciate that. However, my experience wasn't great. The woman who did my hair was VERY rough. I said "ouch" several times while she scrubbed my scalp with her nails and then again while she was coming my hair with a fine tooth comb. She hit several knots but one of them wouldn't come out. She just kept ripping through it until I put my hand on my head and told her it hurts too much to continue doing that. Then she got a different brush and did it again but it did come out after a few tries, thankfully. She also talks the entire time, which I don't have an issue with, but she stops working when she talks and that doubled my time there, plus she kept getting so close to my ear that her nose and lips were on the side of my face and I could smell her breath.
