Ly's Cutting Edge Hair Salon

Took a leap of faith after 2 botched haircuts from my former stylist/salon and tried Ly’s Cutting Edge/Theary, based on reviews. She saved my hair, gave me a short but feminine pixie cut and did so in very little time for a very fair price. I’ll be going back regularly.

Phenomenal service, great haircuts, and incredible prices. I just moved back to the DMV area and, after not touching my hair for a year and a half during COVID-19, was in dire need of a haircut. After browsing about on Yelp and Google, I stumbled upon this cute little shop and decided to give it a shot! I booked an appointment for Saturday morning with Theary, and I absolutely loved her. She's incredibly sweet, talented, and caring, and she made the entire experience an all-around delight. As the super indecisive and chronically unprepared person that I am, I wasn't entirely sure what hairstyle I wanted when I stepped into Ly's. But Theary was super kind and gave incredible input on what she thought would be best. I ended up chopping off about eight inches of hair (I originally had waist-length hair, and now it's slightly longer than shoulder-length) and got side bangs.
