I can not recommend Madison Williams enough! Madison has been cutting my hair for the last 2 years (mostly razor cutting), and it’s given me an entirely new perspective on what my hair can look like and what’s reasonable to expect from a haircut. A little bit about me: For the last 15 years I’ve vacillated between a pixie cut and shoulder length hair. I used to get my hair cut at a high end salon chain that prides itself on low maintenance, “effortless” styles and personalized cuts. But in my experience, the trade off for that “low maintenance” short style was needing a haircut every 6-8 weeks. I can still remember the icky panicked feeling I’d get when my haircut would start growing out into an unmanageable blocky mushroom shape. Getting haircuts that frequently became unsustainable. But then the pixie “growing out process” that followed was nightmarish and awkward, always requiring excessive styling and lots of hats. He asked me all the right questions to make me feel comfortable and was totally on point with understanding my style and esthetic. Just loved him!
