I’m always excited to try new looks with her because I trust that she’ll do an amazing job and she takes the time to consider every little detail about a cut and style. Not only do I always leave absolutely thrilled, I also genuinely appreciate the way she shares her expertise through suggestions that supplement what I’d had in mind, so that my experience is uniquely tailored to my own hair type and my personal style. MY FAVORITE SALON! I am from Chicago, so I was very skeptical of trying a new salon in Austin. I used to go to a high end, down town salon a few blocks from my house. Thankfully when I first moved here my coworker recommended it, and I have been coming ever since! From the greet to the consultation to the private hair washing room to the style and cut itself, best experience every time. I had jumped around from stylist to stylist within the Ruiz Salons for about a year, then I met Nikki! She is the best, I love her and her cuts are nothing less than exactly what I want! It's incredible! 10/10 would recommend!

Shani is excellent with highlights. She makes them last a long time and does not do too much. The reason for 4 stars is that I was quoted $115 for highlights but with toner and botonical which I was not asked if I wanted doubled the price. I want to know up front what I am being charged. This is on the salon not Shani. I like the hand massage and the excellent service but that is what a tip is for.
