At the recommendation of my roommate, I booked a haircut with Zelia. My roommate has curly hair, and mine is more wavy, but nice to have it cut by someone who knows curly hair. Scheduling the appointment was a breeze - I called first and the line was busy, but they had a message that I could text to make the appointment. That was a smooth and quick process and there was availability the following week. There is a parking lot and they are right on the 57 and the 66 bus line, so even without a car it was very accessible. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming here, which I appreciate and enjoyed. Zelia asked questions about what I was looking for and made some great suggestions based on my parameters (much shorter, but still able to go into a ponytail [necessary for my bike commute life :)] and easily managed). Hairdresser was super nice. She recommended great products for my damaged hair and cut off a lot of the crispy blonde bits I got from a botched at home attempt. She didn't cut too much and made my uneven hair blend in with the rest of my length. Overall good experience! Service: Haircut

They completely listened and gave me exactly what I wanted - a short/medium length cut and coppery auburn hair color (over bleached out light brown). They were all extremely kind, and she worked very carefully and thoughtfully on my hair (she really cared about the quality). She also gave me great advice on how to maintain the health of my hair.
