Elan Nail Spa

the one star is for the color (which doesn't count because i can purchase the brand myself online). not only was the application messy, it took twice as long as it should have (i done dip powder nails for over 5 yrs at various salon so i have a good idea of how long it should take). i had to direct when filling was off and coverage was missing on multiple nails. i was charged $25 for tip length even though the pamphlet says $5 for longer nails ( which i have never paid more than $10 for anywhere). definitely not going back, nothing special or worth as much as it cost.

A horrible experience. To begin with, I called for an appointment and the man answering the phone simply said hello. I asked if I had reached élan nails, and he said yes. But that is not how he answered the phone. I thought I would move forward and give it a try anyway since I had frequented the business years ago under different ownership. I made an appointment for a pedicure and proceeded to Elan. The individual doing my pedicure first had me place my feet in scalding hot water, which I had to have her adjust. After that, she cut my toenails shorter than they’ve ever been, followed by what can only be explained as intense cuticle removal. And then it happened, she cut me. And no small cut. A lot of blood. She apologized and got some powder to stop the bleeding. I told her to please not remove anymore cuticles, but she continued on.
