Aurora Salon

Loving Aurora Salon. Jen’s been coloring my hair for close to 10 years. I originally went to her for color correction; a bad ombré. Jen fixed it with no drama and has been keeping my hair beautiful ever since. When I make a color suggestion, she listens to what I’m looking for and makes it happen. I started seeing her sister Liana for a cut at the new salon and am very happy with her care and attention. Cut is looking great. With the crazy climate that we are in, I have felt extremely safe and comfortable at this salon. I feel like the measures the owners are taking are all the right things- including hand washing, temperature taking, masks, social distancing with clients and staff, and strict cleaning measures. Brand new salon with the great hair services from the Phillip sisters. The salon is GORGEOUS!!!! I have been seeing Liana Phillips as my hair stylist and Jen Phillips for years. Always great, consistent and satisfying results. I have followed the sisters from their 2 previous salons and beyond happy they opened up their own salon. That means they pick everything from the great products to the other wonderful stylists at the salon. They know the ins and out of the DC salon world, so they know the best. No wonder their salon is so pretty and calming. Also, must mention how safe they are being during COVID-19. I left feeling comfortable to come back anytime. So in love with my cut and color from Aurora Salon today! Jen did such an amazing job with my balayage and giving my hair so much dimension. I have previously visited another salon in the city and the color was so flat but Jen fixed me right up! So friendly and gave me nice subtle highlights around my face exactly like I wanted :). Bianca gave me a great hair cut with long layers and now I feel so ready for fall! I am so excited to return in the future! Services: Haircut, Balayage
