Urbanista Weddings

I had a great experience working with Urbanista for my bridal hair and make up! Hannah was personable and made me feel at ease from the get go, helping me make final decisions about my hair style during my trial. She keeps it real, which I really appreciated, setting us both up for success on the day of. On the wedding day, she and Dylan did a beautiful job on my hair and make up, which lasted all day and night. If I did it all again, would definitely still book them! UPDATE: Just hours after posting my review, Hannah reached out to address my feedback, confirm details, and issue a refund. She was very apologetic as she always has been when there were long lapses in her communication. She justified and attributed the unresponsiveness to an admin worker that no longer is apart of the team (although I have never spoken to anyone other than Hannah) and the fact that we did not attempt to reach her via email. I am choosing to leave my original review up as I feel as though it is a true reflection of my experience with this business and my opinion still stands as it did before. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Urbanist Weddings was the WORST vendor that I worked with for my wedding. Ultimately, it came down to me paying in full for two hair stylists months prior to my wedding, only to have to seek out the second stylist on my own 2 weeks before the event. (Talk about stressful!) Hannah is very personable and sweet. I enjoyed talking with her and she does make you feel very comfortable. She is VERY good at makeup as well. And, she was very apologetic about everything that happened That being said, the negatives were that she was 3 hours late to my trial hair/makeup for my wedding. I got an email at 8 AM when my appointment was at 10 AM and I was already en route driving there. I had driven from out of state and sat in a parking lot waiting this entire time. She arrived around 1 PM and she was very apologetic and did give me half of the cost of the trial for free, but it was very frustrating. Because we were so rushed we didn't get to use the hair extensions at the run through that I had bought and wanted to use for the wedding. A week before the wedding I got an email stating that my hair and makeup would begin at 2 PM. We had previously discussed that I needed to be ready by 2 PM, which meant starting at 11 AM.
