Rainbow Beauty Salon & Spa

After moving to Richmond & trying out 4 barbershops in the area that I felt were over-priced for the services provided, I finally found out about Rainbow through a friend & won't go anywhere else. Walk-ins are welcome but there may be a wait depending on scheduling each day. The Rainbow staff is always responsive to phone calls when booking appointments ahead of time which I would recommend. Although most of the clientele are women, there is no gap in expertise when asking for a men's fade or taper haircut. The prices are also much more reasonable than other barbershops & salons in/around the city. All barbers/stylists give a great haircut but I can't say enough about Kim. Her 20+ years in cutting hair is shown with every haircut I receive. Highly recommend! Service: Haircut

Outstanding all the way around. Rainbow Salon has an amazingly talented staff, comforting atmosphere, 7-day availability and reasonable prices! I was in need of a massive color correction after someone in Chester, VA butchered my highlights and haircut (see transformation below). Kim worked a miracle through inquiring about my hair history, listening to my vision and strategically carrying out her method for lifting my hair without breakage by using olaplex throughout the entire process. I love the way my highlights turned out and how soft and shiny my hair is following the deep conditioning/hot oil treatment. Additionally, I got a beautiful layered haircut that looks great curly and straight. It is difficult to find a stylist who you can trust with your hair, and I can assure you that you will not regret making your way to Rainbow Salon! Thank you, Kim!
