Edited to add a photo of the chunky “partial balayage” I received. This is after toning my hair with purple shampoo at least 5 times to cut down on the yellow. I had a cut and partial balayage with Andre a few days ago, and I will not be coming back to this salon. Overall I was rushed and not listened to, and as a result the cut was dramatically wrong and the balayage was also off the mark. My appointment only took 1 hour 30 mins, which was shocking - this would normally take 2.5 to 3 hours total in my experience at other salons. The cut and drying itself only took 20 minutes at most, and I'm used to a hair cut appointment taking a full hour. I tried to explain what I wanted in the beginning, but I was rushed and Andre completely misunderstood what I was asking for despite assuring me he understood. Initially, the service was great even though I didn’t feel like I was being listened to when it came to discussing my hair and the care. Most recently, when getting my hair done, I kept getting literally “hit” in the head with the comb he used to separate my hair, ended up with a brown chunky streak (as if he accidentally used brown instead of blond for that highlight) when there should have been blended in lowlights. Every time I went in to get my hair done, I’d get “spoken to” about proper hair care yet I was using the exact brand and type of hair care the stylist recommended and mostly bought it from the salon. I always tipped both the stylist and the shampoo assistant. Both the service and products are extremely expensive. I felt as if the stylist never took the time to remember what he spoke with me about with regards to my hair nor did he remember who I am since I saw him about every eight weeks for about a year. Genius. Nash and Romina were able to brilliantly color correct a home job I botched and gave me exactly what I asked for - a rich brown color with beautiful soft highlights. They really listen, then transform. Amazing work.
