It is remarkably difficult for a man to get a professional and stylish cut here in the Mid-South. After moving from Washington D.C. I was in desperate need of a modern, trendy style. Up City wins hands down. Compare this salon to those in Southern California and along the trendy areas on the Eastern Seaboard. At 1/3 the price for an equal style in Manhattan, Up City is a remarkable gem in a sea of "cut and buzz" mediocrity. Ask for Kristin - her fiery passion translates to a remarkable style. You will be posting selfies for several hours after she is done with you!
The stylist are miracle workers! They genuinely get to know you and want to give you the best service. They are exceptionally creative and up to date on seasonal and trending fashions. The atmosphere is welcoming and always lots of laughs. Lyle Phillips is a 5 STAR SALON!
Lyle has given me haircuts all my life. He knows what he’s doing and his staff is very friendly and charming. They love to help! A must if you want a quality haircut with a great time attached.
