DanielShay's Salon Boutique Spa

I was expecting that making an appointment with the owner of the salon & he having years of experience and listing himself available for color appointments that he knew how to do certain services. I expect for ANY stylist doing highlights it's a pretty common thing to know how to do. I came away with unblended highlights. My whole crown of my head has a circle showing where the highlights start. I've had years of experience sitting with a stylist that did it right by blending from the scalp so I know the correct way it's done. The old blond highlights that I had come in with also wasn't toned correctly. It was overtoned because it gave the new blond purple hues. I have a wedding to go to next weekend and I can't even be proud of the result. I'm going to have to keep my hair up in a bun until I can get it fixed. I was charged $176 when it was all done for a sub par result. He was a nice guy, but I don't choose a stylist based on personality. I also got my eyebrows done by Leigh Ann. She

There was potential bad weather today and the salon was closed. The owner send out text messages out to clients with appointments, but accidentally mud-typed my number so I wasn’t notified. I went to the salon and checked in via text and was called back moments later apologizing for the error and offering to come in and do my hair since I didn’t know when I would be able to reschedule. She opened up just for me which was above and beyond all expectations I had. She was kind and efficient and it was very much appreciated since I am starting a new job and hadn’t had my hair cut in over 6 months. Highly recommend the salon from previous interactions as well, but the owner making the exceptional efforts to help me out and get me fixed up was so appreciated- not to mention it looks great too! I had the most wonderful facial that I’ve ever had here from Ashley. I have had many facial services over the years but Ashley was absolutely amazing!! The boutique is very cool too. The whole place has a nice relaxing vibe.
