If you are black and have to read a review, THIS IS THE ONE! In my search for black hairdressing salons in the Pawtucket area, this came up. I looked at pics and went ahead with my booking. PRICING: First and foremost, their pricing is not standard and changes all the time. I was told $65 over the phone and was charged $70. MY EXPERIENCE: I went in for a relaxer. I think the person who did my hair was not a certified hairdresser. Her technique was amateur. I had to show her to separate my hair to ensure all relaxer is at the roots. There was no smoothing. I told her I want to set it and walk out with the curls. She blow dried my hair AFTER the I was under a hairdryer for so long. RIP To my hair from the heat damage! CLEANLINESS: it was insulting to see the same person who did my hair went to do someone’s nails and then stood right up WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS to come touch my washed hair. Best shampoo, fast I really only had 2 well 3 ppl who have washed or blow dried my hair I don't know their names but the one who answers phones/shampoos she has beautiful hair brown skinned is very nice great at shampooing & the one with the chair next to the sink are my go 2 ppl I feel good when I leave there Thanks Ladies

As a black woman, they will fry your hair. I have been there multiple times and I think some people are not professional hairdressers. Not gentle, very rough, and felt like my hair was pulled from the roots. Her prices are not consistent a wash and blow dry went from $25-30 to $60-$70.
