Studio Booth is a salon that has many talented professionals, including my stylist, John, who I have been a loyal client of for several years. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the management, particularly Jeff Natale. Recently, I had an unfortunate and unforeseen work-related circumstance that prohibited me from keeping an appointment. On the day of my scheduled appointment with John, I learned that there would be a 25% workforce reduction in the organization for which I am employed and that a mandatory conference call was scheduled the same time as my appointment with John. I had to be on the call and had no choice but to reschedule. I called the salon immediately and told them of my situation and asked to reschedule sometime within the next two days. I was told however, that I would be charged for scheduled services because I was "cancelling" the same day despite my specifically requesting to reschedule. I was fortunate to have Izear as my stylist. What was supposed to be a 15-minute consultation turned into a complete transformation of my hair in just a couple of hours. He truly understands natural curly hair. Additionally, he explained the entire process to me and then went into detail as we went through it. I had a fantastic time and am extremely pleased with the results. The salon was immaculately clean. I did not have an appointment, but Izear managed to get me in regardless. Throughout my brief wait, I observed the staff meticulously cleaning EVERYTHING, and whenever a staff member saw me, they inquired as to whether I required anything. Chao is amazing. He is kind and fun. I showed him pictures of the hairstyle I want and he did an amazing work by making better adjustments based on my hair conditions and my head shape. Best haircut ever!
