Mak is wonderful! This was my first experience at this salon. I went in for a cut and single color. She listened to what I think I wanted and suggested other ways to manage and care for my hair. I walked out of Salon Vanity like a new person! She had me in tears of joy! The richness in color and style was so natural. Thank you Mak for making me feel like me again! I will start out by saying the haircut was not bad, the stylist did a decent job, but definitely not amazing that I couldn’t go elsewhere for the same result: I have never had such a bad experience from a salon, ever. My stylist was extremely rude and aggressive. At some point her tone made me feel very uncomfortable and I could tell other workers were looking at us. She refused to cut my hair the way I wanted. Fine. But I was extremely upset by the way she treated me, telling me I didn’t show her the correct picture the first time (I showed her layered looks with both long hair and later short hair to explain it further since she didn’t understand the first time). Yelling at me for my request saying basically it will look bad and impossible with my length. Not true, I have gotten it done before and it didn’t look bad. She kept making excuses that the pictures I showed her were styled or I don’t have that hair. Sorry, you’re a pretty outdated stylist if you don’t know what the butterfl
