I recently had my hair cut and styled by Hang and I could not be happier with the result! She really listened to what I was looking for while also suggesting what she thought would work best with my hair. She kept checking in with me to make sure I was happy with the length as she went. They really make you feel pampered with a nice head massage during the shampoo and taking the time to blow out your hair at the end. My husband also gets his hair cut here and he's been very pleased. It's a great value for the quality service they provide. The Pretoria team does a great job of adhering to COVID policies - you need to sign an electronic waiver and have your temperature taken when you arrive. You wait outside until they are ready for you. They provide masks and sanitizing wipes, and make sure the place is cleaned frequently. As someone who is very nervous about COVID, they made me feel comfortable!

I’ve been getting haircuts and coloring with Jessica here and I would definitely recommend her work. However, their pricing policy is very confusing and for short haircuts they don’t ask about the difficulty of work in advance. The first time I scheduled a really short haircut, I told the person who was then in charge of the schedule that I want a men’s haircut, and I asked for “short on the sides and longer on the top” style. They charged me $50 instead of $35 for men’s haircuts. I thought it was alright because they gave me a 30 sec styling. Second time I asked the same (with the same wording “short on the sides and longer on the top”) but without styling, and they still charged $50 because, they said, they gave me a “pixie” and not a men’s haircut – and this directly contradicts their pricing policy on the website (screenshot attached). Moreover, I asked to remove the bleached layer, but there are still visible white parts, which makes me look 10 years older with graying hair. I tal
