Paramount Salon

It’s a nice salon and has affordable pricing but I got one of THE WORST haircut I’ve ever received here. Julie cut my hair and even though she was very nice, she didn’t follow anything I showed her and left me with a wonky mullet that I can’t do anything with. I also wear my mask religiously everywhere and was in great health prior to the cut and during, but decided to make an exception and not wear one for this haircut, which I deeply regretted. While having her cut my hair and breathe very close to my face for a couple hours (yep I could smell her breath throughout the whole cut), I thought everything would be fine…Lo and behold, I tested positive for covid a day later and was upset that I was given a bad haircut and now covid. Won’t be coming back here again as their clientele seem to be more mature women which explains why my request for more current hair trends was not met. I stumbled across this salon through instagram. I immediately was draw to Hunter Mae! I loved her lived in, natural approach. When I booked an appointment she was not only thorough and thoughtful but she educated me on the process and walked me through the steps. I have a lot of hair and I am usually in the chair for upwards of 5 hours. Hunter knocked it out of the park in under 3! She is a light to be around and I am so thrilled I've finally found someone who can make my hair vision a reality.
