I absolutely love the team here! They are so personable and really go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with the services provided. I've worked with Luciana, Addrianna, and Justin and couldn't be happier with each of them. Luciana typically does my eyebrows; taking the time to make sure they are done right and with minimal impact to my skin. Addrianna has been cutting and thinning my hair for about two or more years now knowing what cuts will work with my face shape and helping me understand how to care for my hair correctly. She even agreed with me when I asked for a perm and led me to Justin. Justin talked through the perm process with me and the Ashley who was shadowing him that day. He talked me through each step explaining what he was doing and why which was great since it's been 20yrs since my last perm. Jessica has done my hair twice now and each time I go to her, it's just better and better. She blended my undercut to match the new short bob masterfully. She could tell my hair has texture to it. I don't know how she did it but she made the cut more unique and fitting than I even imagined when I described it to her. I absolutely love the velvet monkey salon and Jessica is now my go to! My hair now has the natural waves it should have, it's not frizzing out on me. The only thing that has changed has been the hair cut. I've been to several salons but this is the first one that actually recognized these things about my hair and it's made a world of difference.
