Valentino and Jet Hair Salon

I have had my hair cut by John a few times now and I always leave feeling amazing. The first time, he did a great job with a cut and color that was exactly what I was looking for. Recently, I was just searching for a new look and needed something fresh that would gain me some confidence. I told him what I was thinking and some of my worries, and he knew exactly what to do. I trust him 100% and sure enough I absolutely love it! He is caring, professional, patient, and takes his time. Truly amazing!!!

My first time at the salon and everyone was nice. I was assigned with Sasha. While she seemed to be taking her time to understand what I had in mind, at the end, she did with what she herself had in mind. I ended up with very dark hair that I did not want in the first place. She would advocate for the outcome as “dark hair is not boring” and “it is fall, and dark hair is appropriate”. I even showed her a picture that I liked, and she said she doesn’t like it. She seemed to be more interested in executing her own taste and opinion rather than listening to what the client is asking and trying to make that happen. As for the haircut, I asked for trimming the ends, but it was not done carefully as I was left with hair that still had split ends. Overall, I was not happy with the outcome. First time visiting, brought a picture with what I wanted for color - adding darkness to my naturally dark but heavily highlighted/ombré hair. My hair looks great and they did an excellent job, but it is just not what I asked for and I left feeling great and impressed with the service but now at home and disappointed for looking like my hair was just refreshed without any legitimate change. The stylist offered to put more dark color in it but by this time the salon was closing and I had already been there for 2 hours. No complaints otherwise, great service.
