SmartStyle Hair Salon

When I first moved to Reno, I spent hours on Google trying to figure out where I could get partial highlights done at a reasonable price. All the higher-end salons ask for $200+ for this service and another $60+ for a hair cut. I found out about Kelbie, a hair artist at this SmartStyle salon, through her excellent Google reviews and decided to take a leap of faith and get my hair done at a Walmart — which I never thought I’d do in my life. Well, believe it or not, Kelbie did an incredible job, was super meticulous (spent 2+ hours), and did an amazing cut as well. I now go to see her about every other month. She could easily be working at one of the high-end salons in Reno and charging $300 for this service, yet it only cost me about $100 at SS. Call ahead and book her. Oh, and definitely tip her above 20% if you can. I want her to stay at this location and continue to charge a reasonable price for her work!

Kelbie is Fantastic ! ???? I love the way she washes my hair. And my eyebrows always look perfect when she waxes them. I walk out of the Salon feeling good about myself. Services: Haircut, Hairstyling

Never get a haircut here on Sundays. The lady who did mine randomly gave me a crewcut when I didn't ask for one. She just turned me away from the mirror for 5-10 minutes and then when she turned me back around I had a crew cut. Then she blamed me for it when I never mentioned the word crew cut, and even showed her a picture of what I wanted. I will never get a haircut here again. Service: Haircut
