Substance Salon & Barberspa

I have been going to Substance Salon and really loved both stylist that have done my hair over the years. However, the management and customer service is horrible. I had an appointment for 11:00 today. Less than 2 hours before, they called and cancelled my appointment because my stylist was sick. They did not offer to squeeze me in. They also did not offer a discount for rebooking. I asked for a discount on my next service and reminded them that if the roles were reversed and I cancelled last minute, their policy stated I’d be charged 50%. They said they would call me back and never did. I called them back after hours of waiting around, and they claimed they hadn’t heard back from the boss yet. I will go to a salon that values their customers time and makes an effort to make up for last minute cancellations.
