Michele’s Station Square Hair Salon

I found Michele’s Station Square Salon when I took my mom for an impromptu haircut and her stylist, Emily (@hairthere.itsemily on Instagram), was welcoming, kind, and skilled. I reached out to Emily later on when I was interested in changing my whole look and she quickly invited me to come in for a color consultation. She encouraged me to send her any pictures I had for inspiration and was beyond responsive as I set up my appointment with her. Emily’s rates were affordable and she is extremely knowledgeable about her craft; I was thrilled with the results! I’ve never had a regular stylist and always bounced between salons and doing haircuts myself, but Emily was patient and understanding about my hesitations. She took her time to explain what she was doing and why she was doing it all throughout our appointment. I’ve been going to this beautiful salon for over a year now and i couldn’t be happier. I’ve gotten my hair done by each of the girls that work there and they are all phenomenal at what they do. personally, my all time favorite is the owner, michele!!! she’s been doing my hair for a long time and she always ALWAYS always makes time for me and does her best work. I always leave happy. they have so much to offer here including blowouts, hair coloring, color correction, lashes, extensions, hair treatments, and SOOOO much more. This past May was my senior prom and i had scheduled a hair and makeup appointment with Erica 3 weeks in advance and had also payed the deposit. I go to the salon 4 hours before prom to get my hair and makeup done… just to find out erica isn’t even at the salon. I tried texting and calling her but got no reply till later, the owner then tried calling her and found out that erica put me in for the wrong date and was currently at a different event. Which is so unprofessional as the date and time was written over text. Luckily they had another artist there that helped out. i’ve been going to Erica for years now (8th grade formal, homecomings,etc) and just for her to mess up on the biggest day.
