Rich's Hair Salon

This is my new favorite place. I work in the city and have always gotten my hair cut at a place close by but Rich (I assume it's the person's name...I honestly never thought to ask) is tremendous. First and foremost, they're taking the pandemic seriously. I walked in for my appointment (signs saying no walk-ins everywhere) and he was cleaning things. All the way down to having two cups for the pencils used to sign in - one for fresh and one for used -- they're making sure you're safe. At one point after he washed my hair (super fun!) My mask slipped off and I thought he was going to stab me...which I really appreciated. As far as the cut, it was great! I came in with a mess of a head from a year or more of self-given pandemic hair cuts. I told them I had no idea what to do with it and asked for help. He asked if I wanted to keep it long or make it short (short I guess?) and they made it look great. It's not expensive (mine was $25) and it was far better than I could have hoped f

Rich has been doing my hair for over 10 years now and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Whether I have long hair or short, Rich always finds a way to make it look great. I'm so glad I found this salon. Others came close but never got exactly what I wanted from my hair until Rich.

I have been a loyal customer of Rich's for more than 14 years! (Can that be?! Wow!) Apart from his spectacular haircuts, he is an expert colorist. I could not recommend him more highly! NYC quality at NJ prices!!
