Best japanese hair salon in north jersey! My stylist was Yuki, she was super friendly and sweet. They really take their time with your hair here. I got my hair dyed back to my natural hair color (dark brown) and it turned out really good. My hair felt so soft after. They even offered me green tea. Such a sweet salon! ****IT’S WORTH THE WAIT**** If you’re a new client, you’ll have to wait at least two months for a color appointment because of how busy they are. Most stylists there are pre-booked by their clients with appointments spanning from 6 months to 1 year out…. Like myself. My recommendation is to get in the rotation, don’t miss your appointment, schedule ahead of time and you will NEVER be disappointed. You can’t expect to see stylists in high demand within a days notice, it just doesn’t work like that! So don’t let that to detour you from making your appointment. Akane is the BEST SALON in the North New Jersey Area, IMO! I’ve done various services with them over the years from bleaching, cutting and perms and have NEVER been disappointed.
