If you are reading this review it is because you care about quality and so does Yacine of TressArt! I have been a customer practically since the first month the shop opened its doors. In the years since, both my daughter and I have become repeat customers. I have referred my aunts, niece, and grandmother who happily travels from out of state to sit in Yacine’s chair. Yacine is like an old friend, she is patient and welcoming every visit! I know she will always be ready, efficient, impeccably neat, that the salon will be clean and the staff friendly. I look forward to my appointments and I know that when I get out of her chair that I look and feel great! I am always complimented for her work and am quick to recommend her. I have never had a problem with pricing, Yacine is always transparent and fair. She will let me know beforehand of any changes in price due a change in my style request such as length or thickness. Her prices are reasonable and competitive for the quality and expertise
I have been coming to TressArt for 3 almost 4 years. I have referred friends and family. The service is always amazing and the shop is clean and peaceful. She has gentle hands and her daughters do an amazing job as well. She gives reasonable prices but keep the RISING PRICE OF LIVING in mind. I will continue to be a customer.???? Services: Braids, Box Braids
Unfair and unreasonable pricing. I try not to tell folks what they should charge, but I was first quoted $280 for micro braids, the next few hours it went up to $400. Let me go back to the larger shops in Charlotte. Inflation at it’s worst. 2 weeks prior I paid $200 for cornrows and my hair looked nothing like the photo but I didn’t complain. I just wanted my hair neat. But to try to charge $400 for synthetic hair micro braids is sad. I called A shop in Charlotte and they said micros start at $170 * in response to shopping around for prices. It wasn’t that I found your price lower. I work 2 full time jobs and I am a single parent so I didn’t feel like calling and price comparing. I am also very particular about my hair so I wanted to ensure it was done nicely. You don’t have to braid synthetic hair to the ends. You braided it the same way you braid human hair. Synthetic braids have always been cheaper than human braids.
