My stylist is AWESOME. She get you in an out in a timely manner. Never overbooked. My appointnent was at 2:30, I was out at 3:00, with a beautiful hair do. Her name is BRENDA! Whenever I need a doo, whether I'm on the calendar or not, she got me. Love me some Brenda.
Great ambiance- this is an older, historical Carrboro home that has been converted into the salon. Right across the street from Southern States. Everyone is friendly and the prices are fair. If interested in a nice, healthier hair color alternative ask for Gity Kazemian who works with clients in applying Henna. This is an herb- based natural dye and works great for brunettes wanted to naturally cover silver "highlights" with a beautiful, dark red.
Realized this gem of a salon is just up the street from home. Capelli is based out of a converted house, so it's easy to miss. That being said, Jo did a phenomenal job with my haircut. Really appreciated her expertise and the ease with which she guided me towards a good look for myself. I believe it was $28, which included a shampoo, a little pricy for a basic men's haircut but totally worth it. Will be back soon!
