Great Clips

Short story: the stylist ignored what we asked for and now my 13-year old son is embarrassed to be anywhere without a hat. Long story: we brought our son in for a haircut today and explained that he wanted a little off the sides, and maybe an inch or so scissor-cut off the top because he likes it a little long. He's been developing his own sense of style and really liked his hairstyle as-is, just needing a trim. She responded with "I'll make him handsome" and went to work, seemingly in a hurry. Before we could notice or intervene she cut off FAR more than we asked for, using only clippers (no scissors) for the entire haircut, leaving him with a stereotypical "little boy" short haircut that did not resemble what he previously had nor what he/we asked for. I felt like she was rushing and we weren't listened to, and at this point it's not like we can fix it because we can't make it longer. Because of my schedule and how busy some locations can be, I have been to many Great Clips in Minnesota. This location is another that I really like. Bing did my hair this afternoon. She was so friendly! We chatted about what I wanted done. She then went to work. In a very short time, I had my pixie! Would definitely recommend Bing for a great haircut! She is sweet, complimentary and has tons of experience. She treated me, in her words, "like family!"

Aggressive Stylist, Poor Service at Great Clips I recently brought my son to the Great Clips location in Vinewood Ln N Plymouth for a haircut, and I was extremely disappointed with the service we received. The stylist who worked on my son's hair was very aggressive and seemed to be in a rush to finish the job quickly. Throughout the haircut, she used the trimmer very roughly and did not take care to ensure that my son was comfortable or that the haircut looked even. She seemed to be more interested in getting the job done quickly than in providing a good haircut. Additionally, her attitude was very negative and unprofessional. She showed little interest in making sure that my son was happy with the haircut, and instead seemed to want to rush us out of the salon as quickly as possible. Overall, I would not recommend this location of Great Clips to anyone. The service we received was subpar, and the stylist's aggressive behavior was unacceptable.
