I had the pleasure of Maya and Jeff working as a team to cut and color my hair. I would give the experience 10/5 if I could! Everything was clean and stylish. Maya was very friendly and I am over the moon about my end product. I wanted red but she blended my roots so it doesnt look awkward when it grows out. Jeff cut my hair which I hadn't had done in a long time and it has much more style and texture. I would definitely recommend Salon Head West. you leave feeling like a million bucks! I've been getting a haircut from Jeff, the owner, for years now and I won't go anywhere else. He maybe pricey compared with a 15 minute haircut you can get from national chains your pay $18 for, but you're paying for his expertise, fashion sense, and getting the exact style you want, satisfaction guaranteed. Meaning if after sleeping overnight you don't like the haircut you got, you can go back and get it redone for no additional charge till you're satisfied. That's the kind of confidence and commitment he brings to his work. Small surprise given his background. He learned hairdressing (together with his brother) at an early age from his mother who was a hairdresser herself. He apprenticed under Paul Mitchell who took him under his wing and took him on US tours as his sidekick over several years demonstrating his cutting-edge styling techniques. He's won multiple awards. This place is really great, the atmosphere is very nice. And Maia is a very talented hairstylist. She is very personable, I highly recommend her I love my hair!!
