Genie Hair Salon

Tried this barber shop out because i could walk there. Waited 2 hours on a Saturday for my kid and I to get cuts. Place looks like a messy daycare inside. Sign in list was hidden in back, so the staff were haphazardly seeing customers not in any kind of order. Worst was the cut. The elderly woman who cut my hair did by far the worst haircut job I've ever had. She was lazy. Kept stopping every 30 seconds to ask if we were done. I'm like no, you haven't cut the left side at all. Hair cut was very uneven and jagged. Just all around not a good experience. They appeared to have done a pretty good job with my kid's haircut...until we washed his hair and saw the results. I won't go back.

Brought my 3-year-old in. The atmosphere was good for kids, the price was good and there wasn’t a wait but the cut is really not good. I pointed out at the end where it was uneven but she insisted it was even. After a couple of days the consensus from everyone who’s seen it is that it looks like an uneven bowl cut.

Great for little kids haircuts. Might not be the best thing if you want something fancy, but good for straightforward haircuts for kids. They always get my squirmy kid to sit still.
