Symmetry Salon Studios Rockville

I've had two different waxbar pro ladies attend to my eyebrows here. Really wonderfully professional and they do a lot to make everything go as quickly and smoothly as possible (no pun intended). They always double check to make sure I like the results and being offered water or snagging a chocolate on the way out is a nice little extra. Maybe a bit pricier than a basic salon but their set up is so clean and relaxing. Totally worth the money :)

UPDATE: I am amending my review from 2 stars to 3 stars because after the owner read my review, Celeste reached out to me and provided a full refund for my deva haircut. ________________________________________________________________________ I had a Deva Cut haircut with Celeste and a brow wax with Amy. While my brow wax with Amy was great, the receptionist lost my appointment because she had accidentally cancelled it. We had to figure out for a few minutes what to do and they were able to still fit me in, but I got no apology at all from the receptionist. My haircut with Celeste was absolutely terrible. I got a special haircut for curly hair. It looked like Celeste was rated highly online, but she made my hair a frizzy mess. I specifically told her I wanted to emphasize my curls but she made my hair look less curly than it ever had. I saw that she was using some techniques that seemed to be causing frizz, and by the end my hair was extremely frizzy, with slight waves at best. It was

Well I was given a haircut that was $5 over the listed fee after I asked, it wasn’t a particularly even or quality haircut, and when I called this location to fix said haircut (but with a different salonist), I was told “we aren’t a salon, we are studios rented out by salonists”; whatever that means. Overall a poor quality haircut, rude staff, and un-accommodating.
