I was tired of EWCs practices and I’m glad I took a chance and tried this place out. I worked with Kerri. I’m not sure if this makes sense, but this was the most comfortable wax I’ve ever had. She was gentle, but still quick and effective. The reviews here are true. The facility is very nice and clean. It doesn’t feel as “cold” as some franchise wax salons I’ve been to in the past. The location is easy to find, and there’s plenty of close free parking. I highly recommend Doll Wax.

I had never gotten anything waxed before, but I came with my boyfriend who swore by it. I always shaved but I always thought it was such a hassle - I had to do it twice a week, and he waxed once every 4 weeks. He sang praises for Liz, so I decided to give it a shot and I am so glad I did. I haven’t missed an appointment and actually look forward to them, because it’s so much better being waxed! Liz was so kind, she explained everything to expect and answered every question I had. She chats with me the whole time which takes my mind off of it and makes it go by way faster. Of course it’s a bit painful, but it’s not as bad as I had thought it would have been. Stephanie at the front desk is also a hoot, she’s fun to talk with while my bf is at his appointment and really takes the edge off. The water and snacks are also a nice touch! I would highly recommend this location to anyone in the area.
