Clarisa's Dominican Hair Salon

It's hour typical Dominican salon the only difference is the customer service. Clarisa is the best and very welcoming. She got to know me and now has a loyal customer. Service was fast for a saturday. Loved my results.

Very patient, professional and good at what she does! She does not over charge like other Dominican salons. She is great!

I shared with Ms. Clarissa that I had a history of heat damage and did not want my hair flat ironed. She continued to remark on how one side of my hair was very curly and natural whereas the other side was more wavy and had some ways to go until it was back to its natural state. However, she kept dismissing my request to minimize the direct heat by not using a flat iron and reiterating that if she did it her way, she’d “guarantee” my hair would be completely back to its natural state and growing in no time. After becoming slightly annoyed that she kept insisting that I go her way, I gave in. It’s been less than a week later, my hair did not last because it was so weighed down with oil that she kept putting in my hair, so I attempted to revert back to my curly ponytail. After wetting my hair, I have that lingering “burnt” smell and heat damage. Thankfully, I’m sure with a few protein treatments, I’ll be okay. However, it’s frustrating that she was not listening or willing to accept that
