Fred cut my hair a week ago. The style is classic, womanly and on-trend. It’s a little shorter than I wanted and not quite the right shape, so for sure there is room for better communication next time — but I think that’s normal for a first cut. Fred’s consultation with me was warm. He incorporated the parameters I provided and added his own creativity. I have extremely thick hair with different curl patterns. It goes from curly to wavy depending when I last washed. I always go to fancy salons and am usually disappointed. My hair is just really hard to cut. It was overgrown when I went in — so heavy that ponytails were giving me headaches. I suspected before he even started that it was hard for him to tell how much curlier it would be once cut — and how much it would bounce up and poof out. I could have been more direct but I decided that it would be good enough and I can clarify for round two. And it is good enough. I’ll be back.

I did a deep dive on yelp and Google to find a salon for my daughter, and was led to Bluebell Salon. I then read through tons of those reviews to find Crystal. I have to say, she exceeded my expectations. She is extremely personable and professional. She listens and offers suggestions, and the product was exactly as she explained it would be. My daughter is over the moon and the color and blow dry are perfection. She even added gorgeous curls. Crystal is fabulous and a true hair artist.

I come to Fred to cut my hair and give me beautiful blow outs when I need a transformation and he has always given me what I ask for! I have to admit I can be pretty picky and a bit of a perfectionist when I’m in the chair. I come with photos of my inspiration and I have to see all the cuts being made to feel safe in the chair after many terrible hair experiences in my past. Also, I have naturally very curly hair and finding a hair stylist that understands my hair and how the cut affects the curls is so vital. I have gotten more and more comfortable over time with Fred with each visit I have and have gotten more and more bold in the cuts I ask for! I am so happy to have Fred in my life to care for my hair and make my visions come to life. Lastly, Fred will always advocate for your hair. He will not do something he knows will be detrimental to your hair health or a cut that won’t suit you. Hair health is important to him and my health is important to me so this makes Fred such a valuabl
