Best Hair experience I’ve had in a lifetime! From exceptional service to exceptional products. I had no idea I would be entering a shop that would cater to the mind, body and soul too. Not only was I made to feel completely special for my birthday, but I felt completely catered to and well serviced. I also enjoyed partaking some of the holistic care treatments such as proteins treatments, massage, chairs, steam mist oil treatment and hair growth vitamin drink samples that that were offered during the wait periods. I’ve always felt uncomfortable waiting in salons to get my hair done, but here I was able to watch a talented salon owner (Kathy) and amazing team, run a shop like a well oiled machine all while providing a relaxed, inviting atmosphere to get your hair needs met. With an array of different music from different categories to keep you feeling like you’re in a vibe, to being humbled by seeing so many warm hearted, smiling employees greeting you with love! I am still blown away

It is so problematic to give a good review because this place is going to get busier now! Lol! First of all, Salon Hairapy is accommodating. I go on Fridays and sometimes I have called and begged to be fit in and they have said yes. I am happy to wait because let’s be real… We Black people only have so many options and the stylist here do all types of hairs and provide all kinds of services. Second, they know what they are doing. The owner, Kathy, will tell you about scalp, health, hair health and more. I have watched the stylist do natural hair, tighten locks, do braids, add extensions. Third, I had long hair (see profile pic) and I did something wrong (probably a keratin treatment I got in NYC) and had to cut ALL my natural hair off. So I am nervous about getting a silk press or doing anything that is going to damage my hair. But I come here for one and my natural hair bounces right back up. Water hits it and curls right up - meaning my hair is HEALTHY. Kathy is not burning my hair.

I had such a great experience there. Everything flowed well I got in an out and a decent time and the owner was really nice. She gave me a touch up before leaving so I my hair wouldn’t frizz up and I appreciated her taking quality in her work.
