LNY Wig Boutique and Salon

Met with Lawrence yesterday at LNY Hair salon to look for a wig with my wife. Enjoyed the entire experience. Lawrence is an extremely caring individual with a lot of experience. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my wife. Went to purchase one wig and walked out with three. No pressure to buy anything, but Laurence's knowledge of wigs was extremely helpful. He didn't push to buy anything, I just liked the wigs so much which were reasonably priced that I bought three that she could wear at different times. Thanks again Lawrence!

RESPONSE to staff ……NO I did NOT ask for highlights, According to Lawrence himself, he did NOT do any coloring treatments to the face frame of the wig. This only confirms the poor communication. I asked for low lights to the lower underneath area ( which is the only thing that works on wigs per your advice ). I did come back three times because he did them in the wrong areas. One of my Arguments was he touched the front frame. This is why the hair is falling out. Desperate to correct I let him work on it again Once returned from Lawrence, it was still wrong. I had no choice but to take the wig because YOU WOULD NOT GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! Still not accepting responsibility. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! I am currently going through Chemotherapy and so badly needed a wig. The colorist is ridiculously RUDE, terrible communicator, lacks Empathy, and has no understanding for someone’s time frame. To busy to help! I guess that’s what happens when flying in every two weeks to color wigs.

LNY Salon was wonderful experience! I began chemo several weeks ago and hair loss was almost immediate. Due to Covid-19 shopping options in my area were very limited so I opted for purchasing a wig on line which was a mistake. The piece I received did not look like the color I chose and the style was quite off from the photos on line. Not knowing what to do, I spoke with my oncologist who referred me to LYN Salon. Since businesses were just starting to open, I left a message and received a call back within just a few hours to set an appointment. When I arrived on Saturday, I was met by the owner, Lawrence, wearing a mask and assuring me they were taking all protective measures and I could tell these people were very professional. Lawrence not only helped me find the right piece, color and style but he asked to see photos from before my hair loss and he carefully trimmed my selection to match the photos, I am still overwhelmed!
