This was truly the worst massage experience I have ever had. I arrived on time and the massage began 35 minutes late. The massage rooms were rather small and had an opening about 1 foot wide between the top of the wall and the ceiling. This meant I could hear everything that was going on in the massage room next to mine. In the next room over an incredibly loud and rude woman was getting a massage. She was speaking incredibly loudly to her massage therapist about a fight she was having with her neighbor. She asked the massage therapist to leave the room while she took a phone call which turned out to be a 30 minute job interview. She did the phone interview in the massage room and I could hear the whole thing at full volume. No one who worked at the spa asked her to be quiet. Following her interview she made 4 additional phone calls and described the interview to various people. Her massage therapist returned and resumed the massage. Beware of poor customer service. The owner and the staff are rude and extremely defensive. The owner lied and said my hair was damaged. My hair is not damaged and the truth is I was not combed out properly in the shampoo bowl by the tech.. I have been going over the years and the quality of service has really gone down. I have made several attempts to show grace and decided yesterday to give them another try a few months after another bad encounter with the blow dry tech who is also extremely rude. There are so many other great shops in DC who value customer service.

I had my hair straightened at this salon and the results are beautiful. The staff was attentive and I was in and out in no time. Parking may be an issue since there's only street parking in the area.
