Very skeptical about hair salons. It took me awhile to try another place than where I've been accustomed to going which is in the Bronx to my hair salon. Sooo glad I took a chance with Shear. An excellent job. Safe is very nice made me feel welcomed. Services: Shampoo & conditioning, Perms

I went on 5/5/23 and Jael had cut my layers into long layers like I told her to. I had already washed my hair at home and it air dried prior to my visit. She cut my hair dry which was my first time ever having someone cut my hair dry. I have wavy hair and she did not cut my hair too short like everyone else seems to! I will be coming back to see her at their new location :)

They have a very nice and clean ambience. The set up prioritizes flow so you go directly from washing to drying to styling. Clients can move around easily and safely without bumping into each other. They time your visit very well. Their professionalism and efficient customer service overcomes some obstacles like the language barrier. I personally don't speak a lot of spanish so I can't understand some of what they are telling me, but body language can communicate things like "turn around" or "sit here" pretty well. It's not a huge deal so they do deserve a 5 star.
