Salon Khang

Salon Khang is one of the best salons I’ve ever been to. The place is super clean and well-kept, Khang is very friendly and super nice! He’s great at cutting hair (& styling & coloring) and doing it exactly how I asked! My mom has been going to him for awhile now and there’s never any complains. I couldn’t recommend this place more! I've been going to Khang for around six months now, but this was my first visit to his new salon. It is a little further away from his last location in the SJ Evergreen area, but his skills justify the commute! Khang is an artist in his own right. He always takes the time to ask you what style or look you are trying to accomplish, and he does everything within his magical powers to sculpt a head of hair that is fit for movie star! This new salon is nestled amongst a handful of businesses, so the parking lot is fairly busy. It has a modern vibe that is warm and inviting. Khang is usually booked solid on a daily basis, but he is the most accommodating stylist I've ever met. If you haven't found your go-to stylist/magician yet, look no further! I think I just found my new go-to salon. Now, my requirements may be different from other people, but this is what I'm looking for in a hair salon: 1) Peace and quiet - I have a toddler at home. This is one of the only times, I completely have to myself and can relax. I don't want to be answering personal questions from someone I don't really know. So far, I haven't found a place where they stylist doesn't try to make small talk with me. 2) No sales pitch - I don't want to be pitched hair products and or be pushed to come back in 3 months for a follow-up trim. I understand that it's easier to manage if I come back more regularly, but I don't want to and I don't want to feel guilty about it. 3) Affordable - I don't mind dishing out more money if I have the #1 and #2, but also, why are women's haircuts so expensive these days? This placed charged $60 which felt like a steal. 4) Quality - I know I'm listing it last here, but that's just because it's a given. I asked for minimal trim, new
