It was very fun experience and I cant wait to go back! for many reasons. one, the hairdresser who worked on me, Violet, is so good at her job! the time flew by and it was nice to experience something that most hair salons can’t offer. Aubrea has truly impressed me with her fun personality and professional cutting skills. It was very pleasant working with her and feeling pretty with the cute beach waves she curled for me (which was the first time my hair was ever styled in a way that is right for me). No wonder Umbrella Salon is one of the best in San Jose. I cannot wait for our next appointment together!

Here on business. Drove all the way from SF last week for an overpriced experience with disappointing results. I’m very selective with hair salons. This is the first salon that proposes to be upscale with underwhelming results. No offense to their clients, but while I was waiting for my appointment the people leaving after their hair appointment looked mediocre (first red flag). They tout being high fashion New York scale - did *not* see that at all. For $400+ services, never again. Bay Area has plenty of other options where you actually look like you just stepped out of a high end salon.
