Blondes! This one’s for you. I’ve had a lot of difficulty finding/trusting someone with my fragile (damaged) hair. Many experiences in the past have left me struggling with breakage etc. I found Ruben through a friend who highly recommended him. So happy I decided to book for a full highlight & cut. Ruben is so kind and honest with what’s sustainable for your hair long term and he actually cares. I really respect the time & effort he put into his work. My hair feels so much healthier & the highlights blend sooo well. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The salon is full of talented artists & it really shows! Felt very well taken care of & enjoyed the atmosphere. Very professional & passionate crew, I understand why they’ve become such a high class salon! Thank you Ruben, & population team. Excited for my next visit.

Don’t just look at overall stars, really take your time to read reviews and understand this place so you don’t end up as I did. They do not deserve your money or time. Requested a single process with the Senior Stylist to darken grown out, light brown highlights to match my natural brunette hair in the top half and now have a full head of hair so dark brown that it’s nearly black. My fiancé was appalled. I look like Loki’s sister. The studio doesn’t answer texts (don’t try) or calls and eventually said “let it fade” and “sorry you feel like your roots are dark.” I don’t “feel” it, it is objectively so dark I’m unrecognizable, and it’s permanent. A $400+ disaster from a team who doesn’t care and doesn’t listen.
