The Lab A Salon

I found a new home for my highlights with Amber at The LAB! From the beginning she has made me feel totally comfortable, listened to what I hoped to achieve and explained my options. She saved my hair from the previous stylist I had seen elsewhere (check out those pictures!). Conversation never feels forced or awkward. She is a sweetheart! It's a cute, clean spot, everyone is friendly and they seem to have a good rapport with one another, which is great to see. The location can be rough parking-wise, and it is a little pricier than other places I have been but "you get what you pay for," right? Highly recommend checking it out if you can afford it.

I found The Lab by coincidence and booked an appointment for a full balayage with any stylist. This was a last minute appointment and I got in the same week. Lauren took care of my hair and was amazing. I have truly never been so happy with how my hair looks. Not only was she able to lighten my hair exactly how I wanted she was also able to get semi-permanent pink box dye out of my hair with no damage. She listened to what I wanted and gave me realistic expectations as to what my hair would look like if the pink didn't lift. However she definitely exceeded these expectations! I will not go to another salon or stylist as long as I'm living in San Diego. Thank you Lauren!!!
