I have been going to Escape Salon for several years and have had two great stylists there. One Stylist moved away and recommended her colleague Matthew Burleigh and it’s been hair heaven ever since. Matthew is professional, talented, creative, a problem solver and a lovely human being. He has helped me so much with my hair goals, as a woman of a certain age, we’re always trying to find ways to hide the gray, go gray, etc., and he always find the right way for my hair to look fabulous. His cutting skills are exact and his knowledge of color is on point and amazing. I trust him and always look forward to our time together. Book this stylist, you will not be disappointed! Was Visiting San Diego recently and decided to book a highlighting appointment and roots at this salon. Went solely based on the reviews and crossed my fingers. Booked with Allyson and was not disappointed. She listened to what I wanted, told me what she can do and what to expect and delivered in a timely manner. Very friendly salon. Will definitely book with Allyson here again if I am ever in town.
