I love My Braids! I have been coming to Fatou for a couple of years now. My braids are always perfect! She always finishes quickly, my braids always last a long time, and I get tons of compliments on her work. She is the one to choose if you want braids. Service: Box Braids

This is a good and professional shop. I made my appointment 2 weeks in advance, I confirmed a few days before and the appointment was on time, This was my first time at Fatou K's and my braids came out better than the braids installed in New York. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, It is also a pretty shop (decor-wise). I will return to this shop for my next install.

If I could give this "daycare" 0 stars, I would. This shop was rowdy and unconcerned with me as a paying client. Not only were they late, but her 3 kids were running and screaming as well as Fatou herself. I wanted to leave because I was uncomfortable. I was willing to pay for what was done, but she gave me two ultimatums; either pay the full amount ($300) or have the hair taken out. I refused, and she called the cops on me and locked the door. I understand kids can't always be tended to, but having them constantly crying and throwing things near you is unprofessional. On top of that, she left me alone to attend to another client. They got a full-blown wash and dry and comb out while I sat there with barely half my hair done. She didn't even do the style correctly. I was also told I needed to be quick with my phone call because she had other clients, yet she had multiple phone calls and conversations and lessons that shifted her work from me.
