The Salon is beautiful and Kate Tosh is phenomenal! Worth every penny!! My 14 yo daughter has very very curly hair, small tight curls, and Kate gave her the best hair cut she has ever had. LOVE!
My stylist is Heather Dean and she's amazing. I met her at her previous salon in Oakland and when she moved to Alameda, of course I followed her. The salon itself is in a convenient location, parking easy and the place is clean and nice. Heather is a skilled hairdresser and an expert colorist. I'm Asian with really thick, coarse hair and she has found product to make the process of bleaching it so much faster and more comfortable. I've since moved to Seattle but schedule my trips to the Bay Area for work around my hair. She always gets me in even with last minute requests. I appreciate Heather and happy she's found a new home at Salon 1500. Highly recommend.
Justin colored my locs and I love what he did! He took one look at my original red color and toned it down. I’ve gotten more compliments since he has colored my hair, and I love it. I go to Justin for my hair color and not my locs. Services: Dreadlocks, Hair coloring, Ombre hair color
