Derby Salon

Potentially the worst salon I've ever been to. The reviews are likely fake. I'd stay away ???? staff are nice but unskilled and clueless. Not to mention out of touch with reality.

I'm what you might call a "selective customer," but Derby Salon? They've got me hooked! I'm practically a regular there, swinging by every two weeks for a haircut and trim action. Caillee? She's the real deal. Her haircuts and advice are always right on the money. And when it comes to taming these unruly brows, Alison (the boss lady) and her crew work their magic like nobody's business. What's even better? Derby Salon is a local gem, independently owned and oozing with neighborhood charm. If you find yourself wandering around Roosevelt, do yourself a favor and drop in. You won't be disappointed!

Girl who cut my hair was sweet, but just don’t go unless you want your hair to end up like this.. Edit: Originally rated a 2 star but knocked it down to 1. The business is now claiming that the hair you see in the second picture I’ve uploaded is “new growth” or “flyaways”, rather than what ACTUALLY is hair one of their stylists chopped from the roots. New hair growth is not blunt at the ends, so do not even try to claim my hair was in this state before I visited. Rather than treat my experience at your salon like it was my wrong doing, take ownership for ruining my hair after I still had the decency to pay and tip you guys. I won’t be demanding a refund or anything of that sort, but sitting here after a traumatizing haircut and being told that the state of my hair is on me is something no paying customer wants to hear..especially if they came into your location to support a local small business.
