ENCORE Salon and Spa

I just want to start by saying this salon is very cute, and nicely decorated. I am new to the Tri- Cities area and was very nervous to start trying a new hair stylist in FEAR that i would be ripped off. Briana Edwards did my hair and i honestly have NEVER paid that much money or sat for that long amount of time EVER.. my hair is short... I used to have long hair, down to my butt, and still i never sat almost 9 hours to get my hair done!!! SERIOUSLY?! i was extremely disappointed with how my hair came out. I wanted icey blonde hair.. even showed a couple reference pictures. but left with something completely different.. On top of that, my appointment was supposed to start at 12 and i sat there and waited for an hour.. i regret staying and should of walked out at the 15 minute mark. i was not happy i just SPENT 320 DOLLARS on hair i do not like. Everyone is so inviting there. The owner actually works there and is amazing herself. They actually care about their clients.. in fact You're not only a "client" you're family there. I definitely recommend this salon for all your hair care needs.

I'd like to write a review in support of Briana to counter the terrible review from a different customer. I have long, fine, straight hair and finding someone who can do good, quality layers is not easy. I'd been to discount salons and their idea of 'layers' is cutting different lengths straight across. These are not quality layers that blend in and the day after you leave the salon, they look terrible. I was referred to Encore by a coworker as I was on the hunt for a stylist who could do layers like my old stylist could in Pasadena CA. I did my homework, however. As soon as I walked in the first time, I asked the front desk which of their stylists was good at long, strait, thin hair, AND at doing layers. I was immediately referred to Briana, so I trusted their judgment. I was not disappointed AT ALL. Briana is a master stylist (at least when it comes to long hair) and cut layers in my hair that lasted well over 6 months before needing a refresher. I had her do my hair before my weddin
