I absolutely adore OlyCurl, and if you have any sort of textured hair, you should too! When I first moved to the Olympia area it was really important to me to find a stylist that knows how to care for curls and I was so elated to find OlyCurl. If you’ve never gotten your hair done by a curl expert, this is a great place to go even once to learn about how to best care for your curls. You hair will thank you. One of the other things I really appreciate is that Yukiko ensures a living wage and benefits like insurance for all employees, so you know that you’re paying for a person-first work environment and supporting a local business. It can be pricey but keeping your curls healthy and cared for is definitely worth prioritizing in your beauty routine. Everyone is so friendly and it’s such a cozy vibe in OlyCurl, I always look forward to my appointments.

Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at a salon. Joy cut my hair today and it was absolutely wonderful. Her personality just glows through her passion in cutting hair and she was so informational about absolutely everything. Made sure I was doing okay through out while washing and styling. I have never gotten a curly cut and as this being my first time, I will never go back to another place again. Olycurl has won my heart, hair and curls. I was really quite impressed with how knowledgeable and caring the staff were, especially the stylist Violet I worked with. I’ve never had anyone be able to help me tame my ginger Celtic curls let alone teach me how to work with them. Violet was instructive and kind, making sure I was able to see each step of the process.
